Birthday Girl

Last week was my birthday so Matt and I celebrated with a day without kids at some of my favorite places. Brunch on Broadway at Americana. My favorite French toast made on a sourdough and topped with berries and a whole jar of maple syrup. Afterwards we took a drive to the Eastside to Lady Yum for a box of macarons. By the way, macarons really should be eaten within the first 36 hours so I happily obliged. We ended the day back in Seattle, visiting Pike Place Market for a fresh bouquet of flowers and ate a late lunch at T.S. McHughs before heading home. All in all it was a great day, I'm one year older and feeling pretty much the same as I always have but excited for what this next year will bring. Hello, no more babies and breastfeeding!
