Bad Eating Habits

Ever since I stopped working my 9-5 desk job, my eating routine has gone straight out the window. That was over a year ago. I need to give myself a break because I did have a baby and the first year is ever evolving and often stressful but I do need to get more serious about getting into a healthy eating routine.

Breakfast is rather simple: either eggs, toast and fruit or oatmeal with fruit and nuts. Lunch often is completely skipped over. I feed the kids and maybe snack a bit to kill the hunger craving but then quickly move into the next part of the day. Dinner usually has the most good calories that I need but since I don't consume enough food during the day, I then proceed to graze on sweets all night long.

At least I'm drinking water.

For example, this evening I've had four small smores using small size peanut butter cups as the chocolate. Last night, I had a whole peach/strawberry crisp in an average sized ramekin.

This is a serious problem.

Lunch is my hardest meal to eat. Emotionally I'm grazing at night because in stressed and who wouldn't feel happy eating smores?! In any event, this is something I need to work on but I'm not ready quite yet and I'm 4 months of in still "not ready" someone please remind me that it's too bad and there is never a perfect time to make a change.
