Easter was so much later in the year this year compared to past years so we had a really good chance of warmer weather. At least it didn't rain, the sun did peek out some. Personally, I still wore my coat outside. Our church (that's not quite officially a church yet) met at The Crocodile, which is a pretty sweet music venue downtown. It was fun to be there since the place was bought and brought back to life after I had been there for a memorable show a number of years ago with my sister.
Afterwards, we went to my parents house to spend lunch and time with family. One of my favorite places in the whole wide world. I love being home. It's just the feeling of everything is going to be OK. I love spending the whole afternoon with my family. Jack got to partake in the Easter egg hunt this year which was pretty much the cutest thing ever. (He also did an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at the park down the road). My Mom put together such cute baskets. One of my sisters and I both prefer to adhere to Real Food nutrition beliefs and our Mom happily agreed to not make baskets full of candy. Even though, now I wish I had eaten at least one Peep. I mean one peep wouldn't have killed me. (Plus, who am I kidding - I may be superb at keeping Jack sugar free but I'm the absolute worst sugar tooth!!)
Jack just loves his cousins and I love seeing them all together. Making memories and super sweet pics :)
